Reiki is a gentle form of energy work rooted in the idea that our physical, emotional, and energetic well-being are interconnected.

During a session, you remain fully clothed and are invited to simply rest while I use light touch or work just above the body, always based on your comfort and consent.

The practice creates an opportunity to step away from the constant doing and settle into stillness, relaxation, and greater awareness of yourself.

You don't need to understand energy work or arrive with a particular intention. You may come feeling depleted, overwhelmed, disconnected, curious—or simply ready for some quiet.

There is nothing you need to accomplish during Reiki.

No pose to hold. No breath to perfect. No problem you need to solve.

Sometimes the practice is simply allowing yourself to receive.

And for those of us who are used to doing all the things, that can be a practice in itself.

Yoga is so much more than flexibility or mastering the perfect pose.

To me, it's an opportunity to slow down enough to notice what's happening within your body, your breath, and yourself.

Through intentional movement, breath, and moments of stillness, we'll explore a practice that meets you where you are.

Some days that might mean building strength and moving with energy. Other days it might mean slowing everything down, stretching, breathing, and giving your body exactly what it's asking for.

You don't need to be flexible. You don't need fancy yoga clothes. And you definitely don't need to be able to touch your toes.

Yoga isn't about performing a pose perfectly. It's about becoming curious about your body and learning to listen to it.

The goal isn't to force your body somewhere it doesn't want to go.

It's to become a little more present in the body you're already in.

We breathe thousands of times every day without giving it much thought.

But when we begin to work intentionally with the breath, something as ordinary as breathing can become an opportunity to slow down and pay attention.

Breathwork uses conscious breathing practices to explore the connection between your breath, body, emotions, and inner experience. Depending on the practice, a session may be calming and grounding or more active and energizing.

We'll work with the breath intentionally while paying attention to what you notice along the way—without needing to force an experience or make anything happen.

You don't need to be good at breathing.

You already have that part covered.

The invitation is simply to become curious about something that's been with you all along.

Because sometimes taking a moment to consciously breathe reminds us just how long we've been holding our breath through life.

Can't—or don't want to—choose just one?

Embodied Wellness brings Reiki, yoga, and breathwork together in one personalized experience.

Your session is shaped around what you need that day. We may begin with gentle movement and breath, transition into Reiki, or weave the practices together in a way that feels natural and supportive.

Some days you may need movement. Some days you may need stillness. Some days you may simply need permission to stop doing and receive.

There is no perfect formula. The intention is to create time for you to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with yourself as a whole.

The Story Behind Jewel Embodied
Meet Elizabeth

For a long time, I believed the more you did, the better you were.

Do more. Achieve more. Keep moving. Keep pushing.

I thought hustle was what it took to succeed, so I moved through life at top speed—always thinking about everyone and everything else, but rarely stopping to think about me.

What did I want?
What did I need?
How was I actually doing?

I didn't really stop long enough to ask.

I was too busy keeping up, taking care of things, and moving on to whatever came next. And for a while, I thought that meant I was doing life right.

Until I wasn't.

Then came the burnout. The dissociation. The feeling of being disconnected from myself and from a life I was technically living, but didn't always feel fully present in.

Eventually, it all fell apart around me.

And for once, I couldn't fix it by working harder, moving faster, or adding something else to my to-do list.

I was forced to slow down.

To breathe.

And eventually, to listen.

What felt like everything falling apart became the beginning of finding my way back to myself.

Yoga taught me to become present in my body. Reiki opened me to a different way of experiencing healing and connection. Breathwork taught me that sometimes the answer isn't to push harder. Sometimes it's to stop long enough to notice what we've been too busy to hear.

Somewhere in that process, Jewel Embodied began to take shape.

I wanted to create something for people who know what it's like to move through life at full speed. To take care of everyone else. To keep all the plates spinning. To be so focused on what needs to happen next that somewhere along the way, you stop asking yourself what you need.

You don't need to have it all figured out. You don't need to be perfectly zen, incredibly flexible, or particularly good at slowing down. I certainly wasn't.

You just have to be willing to begin where you are.

My hope is that our work together gives you an opportunity to pause. To breathe a little deeper. To listen a little closer. And maybe to start asking yourself some of the questions we so easily forget:

What do I need? What do I want? What would it feel like to make room for me, too?

Because I've learned that slowing down isn't falling behind.

Sometimes it's how we find our way forward.
